The 2nd Symposium of the Latin American Society for the Study of Celiac Disease (LASSCD), the Latin American Regional Committee of the ISSCD, will take place on March 18 and 19, 2027, at the Juan Pablo II Auditorium of the Pontifical Catholic University of Argentina (UCA), in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
The meeting will bring together international experts and leading professionals from Latin America to share scientific advances, clinical experience and new perspectives in the diagnosis, treatment and follow-up of celiac disease.
The program will address key topics for healthcare professionals, researchers, patients and companies involved in diagnostics, food production and gluten control. Main themes will include clinical presentations, diagnostic strategies, pathogenesis, the gluten-free diet, nutritional aspects, regulation and certification, non-responsive celiac disease, gluten-related disorders and new complementary therapeutic approaches.
This symposium aims to strengthen scientific exchange and promote regional collaboration networks, aligned with the mission of ISSCD Latin America to advance knowledge, research and improved clinical care for people with celiac disease across the region.
